How the app handles gameplay records, advertising choices, purchases, and related technical information.
This Privacy Policy applies to Alfred's Blackjack Trainer (the “App”). “Developer,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the publisher identified on the App's App Store product page.
The App is a blackjack education and practice tool. It does not offer real-money gambling, accept wagers, or provide gambling accounts.
The App may save your selected rules, sound and display preferences, drill results, mastery scores, streaks, response times, simulated bankroll, and other training progress. This information is used to operate the App and show your progress. It is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to the Developer.
You can clear training statistics from the App. Deleting the App also removes locally stored App data, subject to normal device or cloud-backup behavior controlled by Apple and your device settings.
The App does not require an account and does not directly request your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or payment-card details.
The free version uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads software development kit. Depending on your device settings, region, consent choices, and Google's configuration, this service may process:
On iPhone, the App will use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system prompt before allowing tracking for personalized advertising. The prompt asks whether you want to allow the App to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
Your decision is optional. The App's lessons, drills, strategy cards, simulated play, and progress features work the same either way. You may change the ATT permission later in iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Where required, including for users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display a consent form before requesting ads. That form describes advertising partners and purposes and lets you accept, reject, or manage available options.
Where required by the UMP configuration, the App will provide a visible privacy-options entry point so you can revisit those choices. Declining consent results in non-personalized or otherwise limited ads and does not reduce App functionality.
Advertising data may be used to deliver ads, personalize ads when permitted, measure ad performance, limit repeated ads, detect invalid traffic or fraud, maintain security, diagnose problems, and improve the performance of the advertising service.
We do not sell personal information for money. Use of an advertising service for interest-based or cross-context advertising may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a similar activity under some privacy laws. Where applicable, the App provides the consent and opt-out choices described in Section 4.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. The Developer does not receive your payment-card details. The App may receive or verify purchase status and transaction information needed to unlock and restore the ad-free version. Apple's handling of App Store purchases is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
We do not transmit your locally stored blackjack progress or simulated bankroll to advertising providers. Limited information described in this policy may be handled by:
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may use subprocessors.
Local training records remain on your device until you clear them within the App, delete the App, or your device removes them. We do not maintain a server-side account or database of those records.
Google and Apple determine how long they retain information they process. Their retention periods vary by data type, purpose, legal obligation, and user settings. Requests concerning information held by those providers should be directed to them through their privacy controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent. Because the App has no account and the Developer does not receive your local training records, we generally cannot identify or retrieve those records from your device.
If you contact the Developer for support, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message, and attached screenshots. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, protect the App, and keep records where reasonably necessary. Do not include sensitive information in a support request.
The App is a simulated-gambling education product intended for an adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication, contact the Developer so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Google and Apple may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their legal obligations and transfer safeguards.
We may update this policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be presented through the App or its App Store listing when appropriate.
For privacy questions or requests, use the developer support contact shown on Alfred's Blackjack Trainer's App Store product page.
